OUR STORY

Inverness Point was established in the mid 1970’s primarily as a collection of weekend homes.  Families came from Austin, Houston and Dallas to get away from city life and enjoy the lake life.  The owners came together to make improvements, including adding the marina, installing a security gate and landscaping the common areas.  Over the years, Inverness Point has developed into more of an enclave of casual but luxurious full-time living. 

 

Many of the original homes have been restored and new homes have been built, but the laid back atmosphere of the neighborhood remains, and the owners continue to maintain and manage the common areas.  Inverness Point is an enchanting respite from the busy growth of western Travis County, a wonderful place to live in nature and enjoy the beauty of Lake Travis.
